Usually, our check-out time is 1200hrs (noon). However, we can arrange for late check-out up to 1400 hrs. Please let us know on confirmation of your room reservation so we can make the proper arrangements.

Cancellation/Amendment requires a minimum of 24 hours prior to arrival date. All bookings require a credit card guarantee to confirm the reservation.

Our hotel rooms and indoor facilities are entirely non-smoking. However, our guests may smoke in designated smoking areas.

We do have meeting rooms and a ballroom at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok for large family events and parties.

There are a variety of shopping areas nearby the hotel. You can catch our shuttle boat to the Sathon Pier, and from there walk to Robinson department store within 5 minutes, or you can board the BTS Skytrain and arrive within 15 minutes at the Siam Station and the Siam Paragon Shopping complex. From there it is a few minutes walk to the CentralWorld Shopping complex. One stop further on the Skytrain would take you to the terminal National Stadium Station, and a skywalk would lead you directly into the MBK Shopping complex. In the evenings, we would suggest Asiatique, a night bazaar within a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There you will find many shops, restaurants, shows and a large Ferris wheel.

At the hotel, there is the River Barge Restaurant, Pier 28, the Silver Waves Restaurant and the Lobby Lounge.

Our hotel has no shuttle bus from the airport to our hotel. However, there are 3 options from the airport direct to our hotel and please see details as belows:

Hotel limousine from either Suvarnabhumi or Don Muang airport to our hotel at the price of THB2,100 net one way in a BMW car. The journey is about 45-50 minutes depending on the traffic.
A meter taxi from the airport to our hotel costs roughly THB400-500 including express way fees and a THB50 airport surcharge. Please make sure that you print out the hotel location map to show the taxi driver, as some drivers might not know the hotel location, and there are 2 Chatrium hotels in Bangkok (Chatrium Hotel Riverside and Chatrium Residence Sathon).
From Suvarnabhumi airport, it is also possible to take the Airport Rail Link direct to the Phayathai station, walk 2-3 minutes to the BTS Skytrain Phayathai station, and take the BTS to Saphan Taksin station. From there transfer to the hotel shuttle boat service direct to the hotel.

Our complimentary shuttle boat service operates from 0600hrs until the last trip from Sathon Pier to our hotel at 2345hrs. You can contact the hotel (through the hotel website) to ask for the shuttle boat service schedule.

Our complimentary shuttle boat service operates from 0600-2350hrs daily between the hotel and Sathon Pier, where you can take public boat transportation to visit many places or transfer to the BTS Skytrain Taksin Bridge Station. Please see the schedule as follows: From 0600-0900hrs the shuttle boat leaves our hotel every 15 minutes; from 0900-1400hrs it leaves every 30 minutes; from 1400-1600hrs it leaves every 15 minutes; and from 1600-2340hrs it leaves every 20 minutes. The return trip runs on the same schedule with the first departure at 0605hrs and the last departure at 2345hrs. If you require any further information, please visit the hotel website.

From the Sathon Pier you can connect to the BTS Skytrain Taksin Bridge Station, or take a public express boat (for a low fee) from the pier to visit sights along the river such as the Grand Palace, the Temple of Dawn, etc. Another option is to take a meter taxi to visit places in town. The Concierge service can offer advice on the best means of transportation.

The last shuttle boat departure from the hotel is 2340hrs, and the last return departure from Sathon Pier is 2345hrs.

A CB Bank Authorized Exchange Counter is available in the hotel main lobby. Hotel guests may exchange major foreign currencies such as the US dollar, Euro, Singapore dollar or the Japanese Yen into the local currency.

Airport transfers are available at THB2,100 for up to 3 persons one way in a BMW car, or at THB2,700 for up to five persons one way in a van.

The Concierge desk, which can also provide Tour and Activity services, is in the lobby of Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok.

From both Suvarnabhumi airport and Don Muang airport, using the expressway, it usually takes about 45-50 minutes to reach the hotel. However, this depends on the traffic, which usually peaks during 0700-0830hrs and 1700-1930hrs. If you require further assistance, please feel free to contact the hotel directly.

It takes about 45 minutes or up to 1 hour to get from Suvarnabhumi airport to our hotel (Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok). Our hotel offers a limousine service (BMW), which costs THB 2,100 net one way. Another option is to take a meter taxi from the airport direct to our hotel which costs approximately THB 500-600 net per way. Follow the signs to the public taxi stand just outside the 1st Floor of the airport terminal. Kindly print out the hotel location to make sure taxi driver brings you to the right hotel.

It depends on the traffic, but it normally takes about 30-40 minutes to get from the hotel to Suvarnabhumi airport in a local meter taxi or via the hotel limousine service. However, in bad traffic it may take about an hour.

We recommend the Banmai local market, which is around a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Turn right on Charoen Krung Road, the main road in front of the hotel, and cross the road to get to the opposite side. Turn left into Soi 85 and walk until you see the market.

It depends on the traffic; normally about 45 to 50 minutes, however in bad traffic it may take about an hour.

It takes about one hour by taxi to get to the Taling Chan Floating Market. We recommend contacting our concierge to arrange long tail boat transportation. The market is open on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 to 14:00hrs. For further information contact the Concierge desk or Amazing Tour desk at the hotel.

Use our residence shuttle boat to the main public pier and continue with the public express boat to the flower market / Chinatown / Grand Palace.

For Grand Palace: you can use the residence shuttle boat to go to the main pier and after that catch a public boat (orange flag boat, THB 15 per person) to pier number nine.

In the daytime, we recommend Robinson Department Store, which is a few minutes walk from Sathon pier. In the evening, we recommend the Asiatique Night Bazaar, which opens from 5 pm onwards, Guests can walk there in around 10-15 minutes (1 kilometer from the hotel). You’ll find many restaurants, shops, a big ferris wheel and shows there.

You can use our hotel shuttle boat to go to the Sathon pier and from there connect to the BTS Skytrain. Take the train to National Stadium station (last station), where there is a skywalk connecting directly to the MBK shopping mall, or get off at Siam Station to take the skywalk to Siam Discovery, Siam Paragon, or Central World.

Yes, there is a post office is about 200 meters walking distance on the opposite side of Charoen Krung Road.
